Instructed by Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, you'll dive into all the facets of planned giving: from types of planned gifts to regulation around planned gifts, timing and rules of gifts and how to communicate about planned gifts to your donors.

PLANNING FOR THIS VIRTUAL EVENT
This instructor-led, virtual program is delivered across 6 sessions over 3 weeks. All sessions are from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Eastern Time to meet the time zones of most United Way colleagues across our worldwide Network.
In 2023, there are two offerings to choose from: April and August. Both classes are the same content; only offered at different times.

- Understand the benefits to donors for making planned gifts.
- Recognize which planned gifts are best for certain donor situations.
- Match donor needs to your nonprofit's needs
- Understand appreciated property, deposit. agreements, wills and bequests, insurance, and charitable lead trusts.
By attending Planned Giving, you may be eligible to receive 16.5 points from the Certified Fund Raising Executive International (CFRE) (subject to approval and change by CFRE).
