Is your Salsa the best in the city?
Want a chance to be part of one of the most popular
festivals in the city AND show off your culinary skills? This year, for the first time ever, we’re
allowing groups to participate in our famous Salsa competition. Thousands of people come down to the festival
and eat their way through hundreds of liters of Salsa all in support our two
charities: Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association and Norfolk House.
If you’re in the business of making food the Sun and Salsa
festival is a great way of promoting your business. Registration is $100 but we’ll provide you
with a 10 x 10 space, 2 tables, all the sampling cups, and a hand washing
station. Plus, we’ll be highlighting all
the salsa stations on our facebook and twitter feed. And, you’ll be listed on the festival map!
To participate you’ll need to make 75 Liters of salsa (get
chopping those tomatoes!) but you’ll have the chance to promote your business
to thousands of people. Plus, have a
chance at bragging rights for the best salsa in the city!
To register use the map below. Make sure you’ve filled in your AHS form and
scanned it into your computer. The Salsa
station booths are YELLOW.
