MEET YOUR FACILITATORS

JAMIE SPINKS

Jamie Spinks is a full time Leader in Me Coach and Consultant. He is an enthusiastic educator who has served in different roles including teacher, assistant principal, college instructor, and 16 years as a principal. His principal experience includes leading two schools in the Leader in Me Process, including one from implementation to Lighthouse. He joined the FranklinCovey team in July of 2019 and desires to lead educators, helping them to know the impact they can have on every aspect of education.

Jamie leads with heart and passion when working with schools, districts, or organizations to develop a leadership/coaching culture that unlocks human potential. He strives to build authentic relationships and unlock others to new levels of effectiveness. Jamie’s desire is to inspire others to unleash their own greatness while they unleash the greatness in others.

Jamie holds a PhD from Georgia State University in Educational Leadership. He studied the student’s perceptions of their engagement. The implications of his research has impacted his work with FranklinCovey. We believe students have a voice and are inspired when empowered to lead their own learning. This empowerment increases a student’s confidence and commitment.
Jamie and his family live in Easley, South Carolina. He loves spending time with his wife, three boys, and two golden doodles. He enjoys being outdoors, the beach, gardening, hiking, walking, and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs.... really anything he can do with his family.
