2014 CAGC/NCDOT Joint Training Workshop

We are pleased to announce the 2014 Contractor/DOT Joint Training Workshops jointly sponsored by the NC Department of Transportation and Carolinas AGC Highway Division. The workshops are designed to bring the builders and owners together in a forum to generate an exchange of ideas and improve communications. We will focus this year on contract administration issues, roadway and bridge construction issues, with a special focus on design/build delivery method as it compares with the traditional design/bid/build method.
There are 3 similar Contractor/DOT workshops planned. The Atlantic Beach workshop is specifically designated for NCDOT Divisions: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and Carolinas AGC members who work in those divisions.
WHO'S ATTENDING?
Those attending from NCDOT will be:
· Division Engineers
· Resident Engineers
· Assistant Resident Engineers
· Central Office Construction & Design Professionals.
Also attending will be representatives of firms performing construction engineering and inspection for NCDOT.
AGENDA & FEE INFORMATION
The workshop will begin with registration from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.,a luncheon beginning at 12 p.m. and a general joint session commencing at 1:00 p.m.. Day two will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude by 4 p.m.
A reception with light hors d’oeuvres will be held at the end of the first day.
The registration fee of $120 covers all costs of the workshop including luncheons, meeting rooms, breaks, and food items at the reception. The deadline to register is Tuesday, February 11, 2014.
