Key factors likely to impact on the future development of the global nickel, lead and zinc industries will be considered in some detail, and specific attention will be paid to the situation in the non-ferrous metals industry in Africa. Looking forward to 2011, the analysis will take into account the global outlook of existing shafts and decline systems, depletion, mix of ores mined – through an analysis of these factors a supply forecast will be given. Coverage of global demand will include a regional macroeconomic outlook of the major economies examining the threats and opportunities likely to impact platinum demand.
