600 including sponsors, attendees, speakers, volunteers and students.
What are the titles of attendees? Are they decision makers?
We have a mix of attendees. Some are decision-makers, such as company presidents, department and site leaders. Some are sales professionals. Some are engineers and project managers, and others are students. We appeal to a broad range of life science professionals.
Where do the attendees primarily come from – the local region or across the nation?
Because there is a large pharmaceutical presence as well as key university programs in bio-engineering in the RTP area of North Carolina, the attendance is largely from the Triangle area of North Carolina. However, we cover the entire Southeast region and there also are pharma companies concentrated in South Carolina, Atlanta, and Tampa areas. We also have a small international presence. As a virtual conference we expect attendees to be far-reaching for 2021.
What does high resolution photo and logo mean?
Definition of Print Resolution:
Print resolution is measured in dots per inch or dpi. The higher the resolution, the higher the quality of the printing. Minimum resolution for photographic images is 300 dpi at final reproduction size (100 percent). Minimum resolution for line art (e.g., logos) is 1200 dpi at final reproduction size (100 percent). Computer monitors display images at approximately 72 dpi. That means images saved for Web viewing on a computer are not typically suitable for printing.
Definition of Raster File Formats (JPEG, TIFF, etc):
Raster file formats differ by the amount of data contained in the image. The smaller the file, the less data there is. The amount of data affects both the quality and the color of the image. As a rule of thumb, on-screen viewing requires less quality and fewer colors than printed material. Raster file formats are typically used for photographs.
Definition of Vector File Formats (vector EPS and PDF):
Vector file formats are created using mathematical definitions to produce smooth paths. They can be scaled in size without any loss of quality. Vector file formats are typically used for type, illustrations and line art (e.g., logos).
REQUIRED FILE FORMAT FOR LOGOS:
Vector EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)—A file created by an illustration program (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) using the postscript language. Typically a vector EPS file indicates a line art illustration, such as a logo. It is important to note the difference between a vector EPS and a raster EPS file. When printed, artwork saved as a vector EPS file will be very crisp (for example, an Excel graph brought into Adobe Illustrator), while artwork saved as a raster EPS may have fuzzy, jagged edges (for example, an Excel graph brought into Adobe Photoshop).
REQUIRED FILE FORMAT FOR ADVERTISEMENTS:
High Resolution PDF (Portable Document Format)—An Adobe Acrobat file that can be both vector and raster, depending on the original artwork. If the original artwork is a vector file, the PDF will be vector art; if the original artwork is a raster file, the PDF will be a raster file. PDF files are often a combination of both. PDF files are compressed. Like JPG files, the compression can be created at a variety of compression levels, which have an impact on the end quality of the reproduction. For print purposes, PDF files should be saved at the highest resolution possible, which is only possible if the PDF file is created using Adobe Acrobat Distiller or a PDF creation program (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Professional).
All logos must be submitted in vector EPS format and all advertisements must be submitted in high resolution PDF format. Thank you!
How do I know what size ad to submit?
The ad sizes are as follows: MUST BE .PDF FILES
• Quarter Page Ad = 3.625' wide x 4.875' tall
• Half Page Ad = 7.5' wide x 4.875' tall
• Full Page Ad = 7.5' wide x 10' tall

How do I pay?
You can pay with a credit card using our secure online payment module. Or you can pay with a check. If you are paying with a check, please remit payment within two weeks of your order or you may risk cancellation.
How can I find out if you have received my payment for my sponsorship or advertisement?
Our online registration system generates a receipt upon payment. If you can’t locate a receipt in your email in-box (or your junk email file), just email info@ispecasa.org and we will let you know.
How can I tell if I am registered?
Please check your email for a confirmation email received from ispecasa.org
Can we purchase additional registrations for company representatives if necessary?
Yes. If you fill your quota of attendees that come with your sponsorship, you may simply go to the attendee registration area and sign up additional sponsor staff.
Where can I find my member number?
ISPE-CaSA individual memberships are held through our parent organization – International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers. Visit www.ispe.org and simply access the members’ area of the organization. From there you can log in to find your member number.
What is the cancellation policy?
ISPE-CaSA General Refund Policy: Payment for event registrations and sponsorships can be made by check, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise specified by the event registration or sponsorship site. In the case an event is cancelled by ISPE-CaSA, a written request for credit towards a future event should be submitted to info@ispe-casa.org within 10 business days following the date of the scheduled event.
Requests submitted after this period may not be approved.
