- Review your booking - make sure it’s all correct and that you are registered for everything you think you should be. In particular, check the accommodation is right - check in/out dates, room type, sharer etc. Also, if you have any special requirements we’ll need to know about these in advance. To help us, if you know you definitely won't be attending certain elements of the conference that you are booked in for, particularly the evenings, then please amend your booking accordingly. It causes us all sorts of problems to have a place set for you at dinner if you're not planning to attend - and it’s a terrible waste too!
- Download the conference app – click here to find out how & start connecting with the other delegates. You could use it share lifts or even a game of golf for the Sunday.
- Plan your journey - view the map & directions to Celtic Manor. If you're interested in sharing transfers use the app to get in touch with delegates.
- Follow the IFP on twitter - @IFP_UK and use #IFPconf. You can share your updates via the app and tweet in one easy step.
- Pack the right clothes - the dress code for the conference days and welcome evening is smart casual but for the gala evening (Tuesday) its black tie.
- See who's exhibiting - do a bit of homework so you can plan your time in the exhibition wisely. It’s the perfect time to do your due diligence on the latest products & services. Don't forget, the exhibition isn't open on Wednesday. View this year's exhibitors and sponsors.
- Want to stay Sunday? At this stage, if you would like to stay on the Sunday please contact the hotel directly. Your name should be in their system already so they can match up your rooms.
There are some things you really don't want to be without during your time at the conference:
- Business cards
- Cufflinks for the gents
- Mobile phone
- Phone charger
- Dinner suit or evening dress for ladies
- Swimming/gym kit
- Laptop/tablet - there's free WIFI at the Resort.
