The Port Authority of Las Palmas is a public institution that manages 5 ports: Las Palmas Port, Salinetas, Arinaga, Los Mármoles and Rosario Port; in three different islands: Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. The Ports Authority's main job is to manage the resources and facilities it owns, so that the companies that decide to operate from our ports are legally protected and free from competition. Las Palmas Port have one of the most enviable sites and geo-strategic locations in the world in the Canary Islands, that belong to Spain and are ruled by the norms and jurisdiction of the European Union. In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the Port Las Palmas is very close to the African continent, only 80 km away from its coast, keeping an excellent communication through our ship lines. The strategic location of Las Palmas Port, at a crossroads between Europe, Africa and America, has made it the leading port in the Mid-Atlantic. As an international port, it combines the importation and exportation of goods with every type of service required by vessels (supplies, provisions, repairs, etc.). It is the leading goods distribution centre in the Canary Islands and one of the most important in Spain. Las Palmas Port has connections with 510 ports in 135 countries. It is now a major refuelling station in the Atlantic, supplying over two million tonnes of fuel and is the most important port in Western Africa in terms of container traffic, with the capacity between its three state-of-the art terminals to handle 1 million TEUs per year. It has the biggest ship-repair centre in the region, equipped with the necessary infrastructure for the floating repair of supertankers, the dry-docking of ships weighing up to 30,000 tonnes and the installations required to handle yachts and recreational crafts. It also has the largest Marina in the Canaries with a capacity of around 1,150 berths.

Booking is required.
