2nd Annual HIV Prevention in Primary Care Conference
04/01/2020 - 04/03/2020
Online based
Join us for the 2nd Annual HIV Prevention in Primary Care Conference! In addition to updating and expanding on topics covered last year for returning providers, the conference will continue to provide basic information regarding HIV prevention and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for new providers.
Are you prepped for PrEP?
Pre-exposure prophylaxis, or PrEP, is a way for people who do not have HIV but who are at substantial risk of getting it to prevent HIV infection by taking a pill every day. When taken consistently, PrEP has been shown to reduce the risk of HIV infection in people who are at high risk by up to 92%. This conference will teach you everything you need to know to prescribe this important aspect of HIV prevention.
