Overview
This event will update you on all the recent changes by the HSE in respect to the Government's continued work under its ‘Red Tape Challenge'. The event deals with a review of all key changes to health and safety legislation, regulation and guidance and how they affect providers and their clients and learners. Importantly it gives a comprehensive overview of the changes advised in June 2013 by the HSE to guidance covering young persons' health and safety, work experience provision and the government's expectations.

Objectives
To equip delegates with all the essential information on important and recent changes in order for them to clearly identify the appropriate next steps to implement the appropriate changes and train and update their teams.

Aims
To update and guide delegates in the changes that have occurred in the past 2 years, and are planned, in health and safety legislation, regulation and guidance. In particular the application of these changes to your sector and the impact of the most recent Government and HSE guidance.

Expected Outcomes
Delegates will receive copies of all relevant HSE and Government guidance on the recent changes appropriate to their activities and be able to apply them to the needs of their business, their clients and learners.

Who Should Attend
This workshop will be of significant importance to all approved providers planning to offer Traineeship programmes to young people with regards to the provider’s responsibility and requirement in identifying work placements with employers.

This workshop is also aimed at education and work based learning providers, including colleges, education partnerships, local authority provision and network organisations.
