MSIH Satellite Symposium at CUGH: Graduate Achievement of a Medical Global Health Curriculum: A Symposium of the Medical School for International Health

The Medical School for International Health (MSIH) is an English language track medical school that begins in Beer Sheva, Israel, allows students to complete clinical electives in the United States, and culminates with a global health clerkship in a resource-poor environment with a partner site, usually located in an underdeveloped country. The MSIH satellite symposium is hosted by the Alumni of the Medical School for International Health who have completed the four-year global medicine-focused MD program. Through multiple sessions during the day, attendees will hear from a co-founder of MSIH, president of the alumni association, and a collection of alumni who use their training every day in their work domestically, while investigating research, and during short and long term international assignments. Alumni who have worked in the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa, India, and South America will present on their experiences.
