Overview

The Business Services and Management Sector Forum is designed for AELP Members involved in the development and delivery of skills and employability provision in business services and management. The agenda will focus on topical and key issues of the day, e.g. apprenticeship and traineeship funding reforms, trailblazer updates and key policy updates.

This sector forum is Chaired by Kathryn Gundle, Head of Quality at QA Limited and vice chaired by Jan Richardson-Wilde, Group Deputy Managing Director of NOCN who are also the forum sponsored. It is supported by Simon Ashworth, AELP Chief Policy Officer and managed by Cheryl Swales, AELP Project Manager.

Along with the usual updates from AELP and the forum Sponsors, NOCN, we will be hearing an update from Mandy Slaney from City and Guilds on the Customer Service and Business Admin standards and will also have an update from CMI on key findings for management and best practice.  Following the updates the Chairs will facilitate a discussion/Q&A session with members to gather feedback on any matters arising from the updates, to discuss any current issues and also to share best practice.

Once registered to attend the meeting you will receive an initial confirmation email. Joining instructions should have been received THREE DAYS prior to the meeting. However, if these have not been received please contact the SIG and Sector Forum Administrator on 0117 947 2099 or email memberevents@aelp.org.uk.
