PRIVACY POLICY
The information you provide during conference registration will be safeguarded by Alternative Asset Investment Management, LLC, (“Alternative Assets”) who may use it to keep you informed of relevant products and services. A list of Alternative Asset Summit 2014 (“the Summit”) Attendee participant names/member firms will also be disseminated and posted on the Summit website (www.AlternativeAssetSummit.com). Alternative Assets does not share any nonpublic personal information with any nonaffiliated third parties, except in the following circumstances: (1) disclosure to companies that provide services necessary to effect a transaction that you request or to service your account; and (2) disclosure to government agencies, courts, parties to lawsuits, or regulators in response to subpoenas. In such cases, Alternative Assets will share only the information that it is required or authorized to share.
REGISTRATION VERIFICATION
Alternative Assets reserves the right to verify any claimed registration category and adjust such registration category for any registrant at Alternative Assets’ sole discretion as well as reserves the right to deny or cancel registration of any registrant at any time for any reason at Alternative Assets’ sole discretion.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
By registering for the Summit you are accepting these Terms and Conditions and as a prospective delegate hereby consents to be a part of photographs, videos or other recordings taken at the Summit and authorizes the use and reproduction of such by Alternative Assets or any other person authorized by Alternative Assets. All such photographs videos or other recordings, including any and all intellectual property in connection therewith, shall be the sole property of Alternative Assets. To the extent such ownership rights vest in you by operation of law or otherwise, the prospective delegate hereby assigns all rights, title and interest in such intellectual property to Alternative Assets. The prospective delegate hereby expressly releases Alternative Assets, and its assigns, agents and employees from all privacy, defamation or other claims, demands, and liabilities whatsoever in connection with the use of any of the above.
AUDIO/VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY
No audio/video recording or photography is allowed without Alternative Assets’ express written permission.
MEDIA AND PRESS
By registering for the Summit you are accepting these Terms and Conditions, and as a prospective delegate hereby certify that you are not attending the Summit as a member of the press or media, nor will the prospective delegate disseminate any of the content discussed or presented from therein via any media form (including, but not limited to, print/electronic/ newspapers/journals/blogs/ forums) without the express prior approval of Alternative Assets. All attendees may be asked to present photographic identification and/or a business card upon arrival at the Summit. Failure to comply may be grounds for immediate expulsion from the event without compensation.
REFUND POLICY, DELEGATE CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFER
Registration fees are not refundable. However, they can be
exchanged either for next
year's Summit or for another person to attend in the place of
the canceling attendee.
SHIPPING POLICY
Summit registration is electronic only. No items will ship in hard copy via mail or postal service. After completing registration online, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your registration details, which we recommend you retain for your own records. No tickets are needed for event entry; registered delegate names will be checked against an attendee list upon arrival at the Summit.
EVENT CANCELLATIONS
In the unlikely event of conference cancellation for any reason, neither Alternative Assets, nor its affiliated entities, nor its employees accepts responsibility for travel and/or accommodation costs or consequential losses incurred by prospective delegates as a result of any such cancellation. Alternative Assets recommends that prospective delegates arrange appropriate insurance cover.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; INDEMNITY.
Alternative Assets does not assume any responsibility for the protection and safety of the prospective delegate or guests, or for the protection of the property of prospective delegate or guests, from theft or damage or destruction by fire, accident or other cause. Any security services provided by Alternative Assets shall be deemed purely gratuitous and shall in no way be construed to make Alternative Assets liable for any loss or inconvenience suffered by prospective delegate. The prospective delegate shall indemnify and hold harmless Alternative Assets and its employees and agents against all claims or liability of any nature whatsoever arising from the activities (or omissions) of the prospective delegate other than claims and liabilities which are caused by or arise directly out of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Alternative Assets, its employees, or agents. Prospective delegate further assumes responsibility and agrees to indemnify and defend Alternative Assets and the ownership and management of the Event Facilities and their respective employees and agents against any claims or liabilities of either Alternative Assets or the Event Facilities which are caused by or arise out of prospective delegate’s use of the Event Facilities. Alternative Assets shall not have any liability for losses (in contract, tort, warranty or otherwise) incurred in connection with any typographical errors or other inaccuracies (such as in a prospective delegate’s name, address, phone number or e-mail address) which may ultimately appear in any Alternative Assets poster, slide or other Event material.
