How to Be a Hybrid Church

HOW TO BE A HYBRID CHURCH

Online Workshop Agenda Description

This 3-part Zoom series is designed to help discern what it means for your church to become a "hybrid" church and how to build the bridge between what you are doing now and what you will do in the future. This course includes the three, 90-minute lessons as well as office hours with the instructor for specific questions and concerns.

The dates for the three sessions, along with the details of those sessions, are as follows:

TUESDAY, JUNE 15  | 10 A.M. EST

Part One: Applying Relational Tools to an Individual Model

19% of practicing Christians in the United States have not attended a single in-person or online service during the pandemic. And only 51% have attended weekly, down from 79% prior to March 2020. This is largely due to a foundational misunderstanding among churches of the tools that make digital ministry possible. In this session, discover how churches have tried to apply relational tools to an invitational model and how to avoid this in the future.

TUESDAY, JUNE 22  | 10 A.M. EST

Part Two: How to Honor Both Congregations Equally

Becoming a hybrid church is about more than the addition or maintenance of a virtual service. If the church does not adjust the in-person experience to indicate to the at-home congregation that it is as important as those in the pews, the result will be greater isolation and feelings of exclusion. In this session, learn how to offer parity between the online and offline experience of church.

TUESDAY, JUNE 29  | 10 A.M. EST

Part Three: The Essential Tools of a Hybrid Church

In this session, we will review the technological and digital tools and resources that will help you engage your entire congregation and carry out your ministry. Areas addressed will include worship, small groups, prayer, missions and communication.
