Workshop Information

The pandemic and resultant quarantine taught churches and their congregations that we can worship, learn, pray and gather online. We learned how to stream, Zoom, edit, post; the learning curve was steep.

Today, churches are faced with a new challenge as they consider how to engage a split congregation—at home and online. This moment demands thoughtfulness, intentionality and collaboration.

This 3-part Zoom series is designed to help you discern what it means for your church to become a "hybrid" church and how to build the bridge between what you are doing now and what you will do in the future. The course includes the three, 90-minute lessons as well as office hours with the instructor for specific questions and concerns. It is limited to 20 participating churches to maximize individual attention. Participants will receive recordings and slides from the sessions.

The workshops will use Zoom technology to meet online. Each registered participant will receive the class meeting link prior to the first workshop. The sessions will meet on three consecutive Tuesdays, June 15, June 22 and June 29, from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. EST. Participants will need an electronic device equipped with a reliable internet connection, built-in or external microphone, and a built-in or external webcam.

Once the event reaches capacity, a waiting list will be started.
