Great Grantmaking is a professional
development series of seven short video clips that will equip you with the essential skills,
knowledge and tools to become an effective grantmaker. This contemporary
grants training programme has a special focus on growing your impact
and being on the front foot.
This course is designed for anyone involved in grantmaking be they
grant advisors, CEOs, funder managers or trustees. The sessions will feature
expert speaker Dr Genevieve Timmons, Adjunct Professor at Swinburne
University, Melbourne and author of The Grantmakers’ Toolkit and
Savvy Giving.
The seven short video clips, vary in length from 20 minutes to 1 hour. In session 6, Sam Cummins, who is Community Funding and Policy Manager at BayTrust, also talks about what is important to consider when assessing funding applications.
