Meeting Facility and Hotel Information:

Training and meals will take place at the

Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center,1101 Lincoln Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. 

The Convention Center and training sponsors will observe required and recommended safety measures including safe distancing, masks, hand sanitizers and other methods.  The Convention Center offers large space indoors and outdoors for a great safe experience.

This event also includes a SAFE  Afternoon Networking Reception for a small additional fee - See instructions below or at Fee Info Tab.

Parking:

Complimentary on-site parking in large parking lot. 

 Attire:

Dress is business casual.  Since temperatures in meeting room may vary, a sweater or light jacket is recommended. 

Meals:

 Registration and Breakfast begin at 8:00 am

Breakfast and Lunch will be served at times shown on the Agenda.  

A Reception with hors d’oeuvres and beverages (including beer and wine) is offered following training. 

Guests:

 Guests may join you for the Networking Reception. 

When registering select "Register Another" at the end of the registration process, select whether they are a member or nonmember, and select "Reception Only". 

Proceed to register others or to the payment/invoice screen.

** Option exists to pay separately to attend the reception if one is unable to attend the training or if one must pay on their own for this option. 

To Pay Separately for Reception or to Attend Reception Only,

Do the Following During the Registration Process:

  • Select "Training Only" Option and "RSVP" for Reception on last registration page. 

OR

  • Select "Reception Only" Option and follow regular invoicing/payment process.

To pay separately for the reception one may:

~~ Split their payments in the final payment stage of registration if paying on their own  with credit card;

~~ Log in Later to pay for the reception using instructions in the registration confirmation email;

~~ Send a check to the address on the invoice;

~~ Pay at the reception; or,

~~ Contact Palmetto.IIA.Training@gmail.com for a separate PayPal invoice.

To register a guest to join you for the reception, select "Register Another" at the completion of your registration process, select whether they are a member or nonmember and select "Reception Only".  Proceed to payment screen.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Should the course reach full capacity, a Waitlist will be established. 

Refunds requested will be honored in most circumstances.  Substitutions are allowed.  Refunds for cancellations within 3 business days of event may be reduced by per person catering costs.
