CANCELLED - CGA 811 Excavation Safety Conference & Expo - DUE TO COVID-19

Thank you for your patience awaiting our response and please be safe during this time of worldwide concern. It is with deepest regret Infrastructure Resources is announcing the cancellation of the 2020 CGA 811 Excavation Safety Conference & Expo due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although over 800 people were still planning to attend, the safety concerns in California have now escalated to the point where we feel the safety of our attendees could be in jeopardy. Last night California Governor Gavin Newsom issued guidelines recommending the cancellation of gatherings of 250 or more people. What does this mean for you?

The cancellation of our event forces us to make difficult decisions. Infrastructure Resources truly appreciate your partnership with us over the years and hopes the good will we have built with you, and our track record of always doing the right thing, will allow you to work with us during this difficult time despite the fact that we, regrettably, are not able to offer any kind of refund on exhibit space or sponsorships, although certain incidental charges will be refunded. We ask for your patience as we work through the details. We will be in touch with you over the next 30 days to discuss the status of your specific contract. Any adjustments will be processed within 90 days.

The majority of the costs to produce a trade show have been invested in the planning, marketing and production of the event well before it takes place, so cancelling does not significantly reduce our investment. A good percentage of our investment was in marketing and in many cases your name and/or logos were included in those campaigns, helping to build your brand and link it to damage prevention. As your damage prevention partner, we wish we were able to do more, but at this point, refunds are simply not an option.

If you have already shipped materials, please contact Shepard (our decorator) Customer Service at (702) 507-5278 or lasvegas@shepardes.com. They can arrange to have their carrier pick up directly from the location in the kit.

IR is looking into alternative solutions for our exhibitors and sponsors that will help elevate your industry presence outside this premier industry event and mitigate, to some extent, the lost revenue of cancelled booth space. Please look for additional information from us over the next few weeks regarding this.

Learning Labs

Located in the Exhibit Hall, Learning Labs are gathering places for educational opportunities and events. Add your name to a learning lab that seats up to 150 attendees. Your logo is incorporated into the name of the Lab, and is represented on 150 headphones used by attendees in each session held in the lab.

Getting ready to send that email of paramount importance, the attendee in question confidently hits the “send” button. With a slight swagger, they begin to put their tablet away. But then… the dreaded “No Internet Connection” message stops them in their tracks. Trepidation and a feeling of impending doom begin to set in. What now? Let’s not go down that road. Instead, ensure all attendees can freely and happily access the internet to their hearts content through your WiFi sponsorship. Each and every time they connect to WiFi, your name is there to welcome them.

Many attendees carry a smart phone and/or tablet and utilize the mobile app to access vital information such as sessions, schedules, speakers, exhibitors, networking functions and much more. Take advantage of this opportunity to sponsor the mobile app and have your company logo placed in a rotating banner on the home page every time they open the app.

Outdoor Demo Fair & Picnic Lunch

Support the hands-on experience of an outdoor demo fair in the beautiful Palm Springs weather by sponsoring the picnic lunch provided to all conference delegates as well as Thursday Safety Day attendees.

Balance due January 4, 2020.
For contracts received after January 4, 2020 total amount due upon receipt of contract.
Balances not paid in full by due date are subject to cancellation.
No refunds. IR reserves the right to cancel sponsorship if payments are not made by due dates. If sponsorship is cancelled, IR retains the right to all previously paid funds. Failure to abide by any provisions of this agreement may result in suspension of your right to be a sponsor or seek damages for breach of this agreement.
