EVENT SPECIFIC INFORMATION

FUNDRAISER RECOGNITION
The Fundraising Totals for Individual Top Fundraiser and Top Team Fundraising Recognition will be pulled at 3:00 p.m. PST, on Friday, May 31, 2019. 


FRIDAY, MAY 31ST

Team In Training Lounge & Packet Pickup | 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Harvey's Lake Tahoe - Emerald Bay Ballroom

  • LOUNGE: The Team In Training Lounge will host a fun, social space for you to gather with teammates throughout event weekend. Stop by to take photos, receive a special gift, and hang out.

  • PACKET PICKUP: Team Members MUST attend the Team In Training packet pickup to receive the official rider bib, helmet sticker, bracelet, and ride t-shirt. Each team member will be required to pick up their own packet and show photo ID.
    *If you registered for the ride directly through Bike The West you will need to attend the ride's packet pickup.
  • TEAM IN TRAINING DINNER EARLY CHECK IN: While you are picking up your ride bib, check in to the Dinner early! You and your guests can receive a wristband that will allow you to enter the Dinner without needing to stop to check in at the entrance.


Bike Pick-Up Onsite | 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Bike pick up will take place in the parking lot between The Hard Rock and Harvey's (map)
Bring Photo ID to pick up your bike that was shipped or the rental bike you reserved. Also bring your pedals if you'd like assistance putting them onto the bike.
*If you plan to ride your bike at that time, you must bring your helmet! Riding without a helmet is not allowed.

SATURDAY, JUNE 1ST 

Team In Training Lounge & Packet Pickup | 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Team In Training Dinner - New Experience! | 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.

The Team In Training Dinner is a time for your teammates, coaches, mentors, honored teammates, and staff to come together and celebrate all that you have accomplished this season. All fundraising participants receive one complimentary ticket and have been assigned to one of two seatings based on chapter. We have an exciting new program to share with you this year that you won’t want to miss! Please note timing for each Dinner.
 
 
4 p.m. Dinner: Doors open 4 p.m.; Program will begin promptly at 4:45 p.m.
7 p.m. Dinner: Doors open 7 p.m.; Program will begin promptly at 7:45 p.m.


Attire
: Casual. Wear your purple!

Friends & Family welcome!
When completing event weekend reservations, you can choose to purchase additional tickets. Children under 3 are free. You will be required to pay for these tickets when submitting your event weekend reservations.

Please note, all children under 3 must sit on an adult's lap for the Dinner and will not be given a separate seat.

Training in Honor or Memory of someone special?
During event weekend, we will be celebrating your personal Honored Heroes. To include your hero's name and picture, please click here. Pictures must be submitted by Friday, May 24, 2019.


SUNDAY, JUNE 2ND
Ride Start

35 Mile Riders

For teammates confirmed for the 35 mile distance, an email was sent from Debbie.Griggs@lls.org with details on ride morning logistics.
 
100 & 72 Mile Riders
Start Line: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
The start line is a close distance from the team hotels. Teammates can ride their bikes to the start line. Please see below for wave start times.

    Return Bikes for Transport - no later than 6:00 p.m.

    **NEW LOCATION**

    Bike pick up will take place in the parking lot between The Hard Rock 

    and Harvey's (map)

    All bikes being shipped home and all bikes rented from Team In Training's vendor need to be returned no later than 6:00 p.m. on Sunday after completing the ride. If any gear bags are being shipped home with the vendor they need to be returned at the same time as your bike.

    Friends & Family Cheer Spot

    If a friend or family member will be traveling with you for event weekend, Team In Training has an opportunity for them to support the TEAM by cheering from a Team In Training cheer stop along the course. Please click here to let us know they're interested and provide their contact information. Please note, filling out the information does NOT obligate them to volunteer. It just allows us to send them more details, find out if they want to volunteer and confirm their participation closer to event weekend.

    Team In Training Finish Tent
    After you cross the finish line be sure to check-in at the Team In Training finish tent! This is where you will receive your Team In Training Finisher's pin. We'll have snacks and drinks.
