At the conclusion of the virtual symposium, the participants should be able to: PEDS: Improve timely triage, workup and evidence-based management of common acute pediatric respiratory illnesses. ENT: Apply evidence-based management of epistaxis. Improve diagnosis and management of common ENT infections, e.g. peritonsillar abscess, facial cellulitis, epiglottitis, parotitis, sialoadenitis. WOUNDS: Identify different burn types, appropriate treament strategies, and high-risk scenarios. Standardize materials and care for abscess wounds. Implement current treatment strategies for common wound care issues. Culturally Effective Care: Apply learnings regarding patient age, family history, physical attributes, gender and lifestyle, to improve diagnosis and management.
