Learning Objectives






At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Recognize and adopt the role and responsibility of the physician in addressing inequalities, abuse, and social justice to achieve patient health and well-being
  2. Use the patient/victim perspective to identify and apply ways to improve current practices
  3. Assess the risk factors for domestic violence homicide
  4. Practice and demonstrate strategies for effective family violence patient counseling and/or communication
  5. Describe the role of medical informatics in promoting patient-centered care and document care
