Visa Information

The following information is provided as a guide to delegates attending the CAPA Iran Aviation Finance Summit. However, visa requirements are subject to change without notice. Delegates are responsible for verifying the conditions for entry to Iran and ensuring that they comply. CAPA takes no responsibility for delegates that may be refused entry.  

Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa for travel to Iran

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Georgia, Malaysia, Syria, Turkey, Venezuela

Nationals of the following countries must have a visa stamped in their passport prior to travel to Iran

United Kingdom, Canada, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Colombia and Somalia

Nationals of the United States of America are subject to additional requirements and longer processing times

Nationals of all other countries can have the visa stamped in their passport upon arrival

More than 180 nationalities can have their visa stamped on arrival at the airport in Tehran. However pre-authorisation is highly recommended. A visa authorisation service is offered as part of the delegate fee.

Please note that any delegates whose passport shows evidence of travel to/from Israel may be refused entry.
