Q. Where will the conference be held?This year’s conference will be held at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Oslo from Wednesday 7 September to Friday 9 September 2016.
Q. What are the deadlines for abstract submission, scholarship applications, and registration and accommodation bookings?
The deadlines are as follows:
Abstract submission: 22 April 2016
Scholarships submission: 22 April 2016
Earlybird Registration: 17 June 2016
Accommodation booking: 4 August 2016
Final registration: 19 August 2016
Q. What is the climate usually like for this time of year?
It is the beginning of autumn in September, and Oslo begins to experience a dramatic transformation as the changing of the seasons brings with it an innate beauty of colours. Temperatures in September drop to a low of 8°C (46°F). Visitors should experience about 5 hours of sunshine everyday, and about 81mm of average rainfall.
If you are planning to take a trip to Oslo during the autumn season make sure you carry warm clothing. The evenings are serene and the nights are less vibrant as not many people venture out due to low temperatures.
Q. Are hotel transfers available?
The hotels listed on this website are within walking distance to the conference venue. Therefore transfers to or from hotels will not be provided.
Q. What is the dress code for the conference?
During the conference days, smart casual attire is preferred. For the social functions smart casual attire is recommended.
