What TITLE FORMAT is required?   

Enter abstract title in sentence case, with a capital letter on the 1st word and any proper nouns only. Example: Significance of meditative practice by Parkinson patients in study at the University of Basel in Switzerland  


How do I submit the ABSTRACT?  

Click on “new abstract” on the Submission page and complete all fields.  


What is the LANGUAGE of submission and presentation?  

The abstract must be submitted in English. All presentations at the congress will be in English only.   


What information is required for AUTHORS?  

Information on authors will be published exactly as you enter it. Be sure to fill all author fields for the presenter and co-authors, including full name, affiliation and country.   


BIOGRAPHY and PHOTO  

A 300-word biography and profile picture are required for invited faculty only (see My Profile menu item).  


Who will receive OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE?  

Only the submitter and address in the CC Email field will receive official correspondence, such as notification of abstract acceptance, presenter registration instructions and presentation schedule. Additional recipients can be added in the CC Email field (see My Profile).  


How can I EDIT ABSTRACT DETAILS that I have already submitted?  

To modify your abstract details, go to the Submission page and click on the abstract ID number or title in the list.  


What is the DEADLINE for abstract submission?  

The deadline for receipt of abstracts is Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11:59PM PT. Abstracts cannot be edited or replaced after this date.  


When will I know if my abstract has been ACCEPTED?  

Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent by Monday, December 15, 2025.  


If my abstract is accepted, when must I REGISTER?  

Paid registration by presenting authors is required by Thursday, January 15, 2026. If your registration is not complete by this date, your abstract will be removed from the congress program and abstract supplement.   


Where will abstracts be PUBLISHED? 

Abstracts for the WPC 2026 will be published in an online journal supplement of the Journal of Parkinson’s Diease on the SAGE website. The supplement will be open access and will be accessible indefinitely.
