Award Opportunities

E. Grosvenor Plowman Award
The E. Grosvenor Plowman Award honors the best research presented at ARS, selected by the Editorial Research Panel. This award highlights CSCMP’s dedication to integrating academic rigor and excellence with practical application. Presented for over 30 years, it underscores the collaboration between academia and logistics practice. Only full-length research papers will be considered for the E. Grosvenor Plowman Award, which is awarded to the best research paper of the conference. Extended research abstracts are also welcomed, but priority in the final program will be given to full-length papers, and space for abstracts could therefore be limited.

Teaching Innovation Award
Within CSCMP's Academic Research Symposium, a dedicated academic track focuses on teaching innovation and pedagogy in supply chain management. The Editorial Review Panel selects the submission with the greatest impact on student learning and instruction for the Teaching Innovation Award. This track welcomes both full-length papers and extended abstracts covering topics such as pedagogical techniques and methods, applied teaching case studies, innovative teaching approaches, and experiential papers on new tools and technologies. Submissions are evaluated based on originality, clarity, and the depth of discussion on learning outcomes.

Bernard J. La Londe Best Paper Award
CSCMP presents the Bernard J. LaLonde Best Paper Award to the most valuable paper published in the Journal of Business Logistics. To be considered for this prestigious award, your paper must be published in the Journal of Business Logistics. The JBL provides a forum for the dissemination of original thoughts, research, and best practices within the logistics and supply chain arenas.
