GETTING THERE:
The main international long haul flight entry point to New Zealand is Auckland. From here Rotorua can be reached via a domestic flight, bus or rental car.
If traveling from Auckland to Rotorua via rental car it is strongly recommended to wait a day or two after long distance travel before driving. New Zealand is a right hand drive country with stunning scenery and narrow and winding roads so a high level of driver care and attention is required so it is best to be rested before traveling after long haul flying.
International travellers may be required to apply for a NZ eTA
