The Airport - LFMQ:

  • The International airport du Castellet is a commercial airfield near the village of Le Castellet northeast of the city of Toulon in the department of Var (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region) in France.

    The airport is located in the immediate vicinity of the Circuit Paul Ricard (built in 1970), which has been operated since 2001 under the name "Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track" (abbreviation "Paul Ricard HTTT").

    The airport is located on a 1,000 hectare site for the airport and race track complex. The expansion was initiated by the French entrepreneur Paul Ricard. Since the expansion, the airport has had a hard surface runway of 1,750 m × 30 m and a new tower. Today, one terminal and five hangars are available. Refuelling facilities for AVGAS (100 LL) and JET A1 fuels are available, both at the filling station and by tanker.
