2014 National Conference on Philanthropic Planning
"I attended this conference for the first time solely for the education factor, and I was invigorated by the excellent presentations and new educational experience. "

     Gift Planning Fundamentals

Tuesday, October 14, 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Additional fee required: $195 if registered on or before August 18, $245 after August 18

This pre-conference seminar will include topics like tax essentials, charitable gift assets, and planned gift vehicles. The emphasis is on learning the concepts in order to develop a conversational understanding of the technical topics so that you can speak with confidence to donors and prospects. If you are new to planned giving, need a refresher, or are a development generalist, this course will give you an overview of gift planning and the tools you need to make the most of it.

Conference sessions will be authorized for CFRE, CFP and California CLE hours to the fullest possible extent. Attendees at past conferences have successfully submitted conference materials for CLE approval in their own states.

Six tracks are designed to optimize your conference experience:
Stay in one track to meet speakers and other attendees who are dealing with opportunities and constraints like yours. Or, mix and match sessions from various tracks to meet your goals. Before, during and after the conference, you can network with faculty and other attendees online in PPP's e-community.

Planned Gift Specialists: Techniques for managing relationships with traditional planned gift prospects and coaching fundraisers in other development departments.

One-Person/Small Shop Development Officers: Gift Planning strategies for attendees who are responsible for all types of fundraising in their organizations.
