0Robert Baerman LAT, ATC
Licensed Athletic Trainer
I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Rowan University in 2003. I then earned my master's degree from California University of Pennsylvania, class of 2004. I have worked primarily in the secondary school setting. Starting my career at St. Joseph's Regional High School for one year, I moved on to working at Buena Regional High School for four years. I have also had the pleasure to work at Temple University where I was the head athletic trainer for the women's basketball team. Currently, I am entering his 10th year as the athletic trainer at Kingsway Regional High School. Rowan University is still a major part of my career. I am a preceptor in the athletic training education program, in the middle of my 8th year helping to educate future athletic trainers. I am also an adjunct professor on Rowan's campus where I teach Health and Wellness. The Athletic Trainers Society of New Jersey is also a big part of who I am as an athletic trainer. I am in my second term as the Southern Representative to the Executive Council serving my final year in this position. I am hoping to stay involved in the society in some capacity after my term.
 
Kevin Briles ATC, CSCS, EMT-B

Kevin Briles has served as District Athletic Trainer and Assistant to the Athletic Director at the Delsea Regional School District since 2004. Previously, he served as Director of Athletic Training Services for Kessler Memorial Hospital for six years. Along with his duties at Delsea, Briles has served as an athletic trainer for the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association championships in swimming, indoor and outdoor track, and wrestling at the District, Region, and State tournament levels. Furthermore, he has also served as a site manager for wrestling weight certification as a master weight assessor and a member of the NJSIAA's Sports Medicine Advisory Committee. In addition to his secondary school responsibilities, he has served on the athletic training staff at Stockton University and Atlantic Cape Community College and serves as an adjunct clinical instructor/preceptor at Rowan University. Within the Athletic Trainers' Society of New Jersey, Briles currently serves as President and sits on the Secondary Schools Committee. He also currently serves as the Co-Chairperson of The Adam Taliaferro Foundation Sports Medicine Symposium Planning Committee. Briles is the recipient of Gettysburg College's Romeo Capozzi Award, The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association's Athletic Training Service Award, and The Gloucester County Police Chiefs Association's Civilian Service Award. He is a member of the Rowan University Athletic Training Hall of Fame, The Delsea Regional School District Athletic Hall of Fame, The Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame, and The New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame. A 1997 graduate of Gettysburg College, Briles has been participating as a licensed athletic trainer in New Jersey for 23 years. He currently resides in Glassboro, NJ, with his wife of 19 years, Kimberley, their three children, Liz, Kevin Jr., Robert, and his sister-in-law, Jennifer.

Ezron's passion for Athletic Training started at Hofstra University where he spent a significant amount of time working and studying in the discipline. There he was given an amazing opportunity to intern with the New York Jets while he was an undergraduate student. After earning a a Baccalaureate Degree in Athletic Training from Hofstra University, Ezron entered the field on the graduate level to continue to explore his passions and delve deeper into the discipline. Ezron attended the University of Michigan to pursue his Master's Degree in Sports Management while serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Michigan Wolverine's Football Team for two years. After earning his Master's Degree in Sport Management, Ezron entered the professional field and began working as the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine at Manhattan College from 2012 to 2015 working primarily with the Men's Basketball team and directly overseeing the Baseball and Women's Volleyball. He on to work as the Assistant Athletic Trainer with the University of Georgia where he was primarily responsible for the care of the Men's Basketball Team. Amongst his many responsibilities, Ezron enjoyed mentoring younger staff members and graduate assistants. He encouraged them to follow these three philosophies: Be present, work hard, and cultivate meaningful relationships. Today, Ezron resides in New Jersey with his family and works as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for The New York Jets since 2016. He has served on the NFL Covid-19 Task Force Subcommittee on Isolation & Risk Mitigation and currently serves on the PFATS Diversity Committee. He also serves on the board of Building Young Moguls non-profit organization where the mission is to teach entrepreneurship in marginalized communities.
 
Patrick S Buckley MD

Dr. Patrick S. Buckley is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon at University Orthopaedic Associates. Dr. Buckley is a sports medicine specialist with advanced training in the treatment of knee, shoulder and hip injuries. During his residency, Dr. Buckley helped provide team coverage for Villanova University, the Philladelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Marathon. Then, during his fellowship training, Dr. Buckley treated professional athletes from the NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, MLS, and professional ballet companies. Furthermore, he traveled to Japan and New Zealand to provide team coverage for the U.S. Olympic Ski and Snowboard team athletes. He continues to be an active U.S. Olympic Ski and Snowboard physician pool member. Dr. Gatt is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. He obtained his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (formerly UMDNJ) after earning his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College. He completed an internship and his residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (formerly UMDNJ). Following his residency, he did a fellowship specializing in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Gatt received the 2020 Edward J. Jamie L Mansell PhD, LAT, ATC
Associate Professor of Instruction and Program Director of the CAATE accredited Athletic Training programs
Jamie Mansell is an associate professor of instruction and program director of the CAATE accredited Athletic Training programs in the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She completed her MS and PhD in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Athletic Training at Temple University. Research efforts include sport concussion, sexual harassment in athletic training education, and athletic training programmatic assessment. Dr. Masell serves as the treasurer for the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers' Society and is a member of the Ethnic Diversity, Free Communications and Corporate Sponsorship committees. She is also a CATTE site visitor and a mentor for the National Athletic Trainers' Association Ethnic Diversity Advisory Committee.
 
Jaclyn Morrissette PhD, ATC
Assistant Professor & Program Director, Athletic Training & Sports Medicine
Dr. Jaclyn Morrissette is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of Athletic Training and Sports Medicine Programs at William Paterson University. She completed her PhD at the University of Kentucky in Exercise Science with a concentration in Biomechanics and an emphasis on Gait Analysis. She also has a Master's degree in Sport and Recreation Management from James Madison University and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Connecticut. She has presented in a number of areas focusing on gait analysis and how orthopedic and concussion injuries can affect gait. She was also the James L Thornton Keynote Speaker for the student program at the 2020 EATA Conference where she presented on how students can build their brand to navigate their academic and professional careers. Dr. Morrissette is currently continuing her research on gait analysis and the long term effect concussions can have on patient movement patterns. In her free time, she enjoys running and doing outdoor activities with her husband, Dustin.

Chief Administrative Officer
Kristen Muldowney has served as Vice President of Ambulatory Services at New Bridge Medical Center and its' Clinical Affiliate Rutgers New Jersey Medical School for the past two years. Recently, she was promoted to the Chief Administrative Officer at New Bridge Medical Center. In her role at Bergen New Bridge, Kristen directs all aspects of the ambulatory operations, patient access department, hospital operators, and informatics at the Medical Center. Most recently she was instrumental in the implementation of the Bergen County Drive Thru COVID-19 testing center at the hospital, as well as, creating mobile testing sites for the county of Bergen as well as several colleges. During the COVID-19 pandemic she took at 75 physician practice and quickly transformed it into a telehealth clinic to support COVID-19 patients looking for testing, and physician access in a time of need. Kristen graduated with a B.S. in Athletic Training and M.S. in Health Sciences from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. She worked as a clinical athletic trainer prior to joining the Rutgers Neurological Institute of New Jersey at New Jersey Medical School where she oversaw the clinical practice operations of the 43 provider neuroscience center. She joined Gramercy Pediatrics in New York City in 2014 as the practice manager where she lead the practice initiatives to grow volume, improve access to care, and opened their second office location. Kristen returned back to Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2016 as Director of Operations in the Office of Clinical Affairs, Her primary focus was to develop consistent policies and procedures across the 413 member faculty practice consisting of 18 departments, and oversee the creation of multidisciplinary practice sites. She also led the faculty practice through a rapid EPIC EMR implementation spanning eight months. In addition to her success as a leader, Kristen has been an advocate for young careerist mentorship and can often be found advising those working their way up the healthcare ladder. Her compassion and passion is infectious to those around her and is evident in how she leaves her mark on healthcare.

Ryan Oliveira is a certified and licensed Athletic Trainer, a level 1 animal flow instructor, and a certified and licensed holistic lifestyle coach. He currently works at the Wardlaw Hartridge School in Edison, New Jersey, where he is the head athletic trainer and pandemic response coordinator. He is also an employee at The Soulution which is a health and wellness clinic owned and operated by athletic trainers in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Allan Parsells, earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Scranton in 2008 before earning a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and a Master's degree in Clinical Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2010. The Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania native is currently employed as an Injury Prevention Specialist with Amazon.com. Prior to his time in Amazon, Allan was employed on the Secondary School level, at Oratory Preparatory School in Summit, New Jersey as their Head Athletic Trainer. He also has experience at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels. Allan is co-owner of Premier Sports Medicine of New Jersey, LLC, which provides athletic trainers to youth sports organizations, camps, clinics, showcases, and schools. In addition, Premier Sports Medicine of New Jersey is a Licensed Training Provider for the American Red Cross, a sub-distributor of Philips Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and AED supplies, and provider of ImPACT Baseline and Post-Injury Concussion Testing. In addition to being a certified and licensed athletic trainer, Allan is also a certified instructor for the American Red Cross and also holds the ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer (ITAT) certification. John Salvo MD
Sports Medicine Surgeon and Director of Hip Arthroscopy
Dr. Salvo is double board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in sports injuries, knee ligament (ACL & PCL) reconstructions, meniscus tears, shoulder instability, rotator cuff repairs, and hip arthroscopy. As Director of Hip Arthroscopy program at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Salvo is one of the region's leaders in hip arthroscopy & hip preservation, particularly in athletes. He is a team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles as well as the Philadelphia Flyers, and a consultant for the Philadelphia Phillies. He is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Sydney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Jessica Springstead EdD, ATC

Jessica Springstead earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic training from Kean University in 2002, she then moved on to Salisbury University as a graduate assistant earning her Master of Education in Post Secondary Education in 2004, and lastly earning her educational doctorate from Seton Hall University in Higher Education in 2015. Along the way she has been an athletic trainer at a variety of high and collegiate settings, as well as within the clinical setting at Overlook Medical Center in the Concussion Center. Currently, she is the Practice Administrator at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center for the Outpatient Ambulatory Center where she oversees the day to day operations of 26 different specialties, nearly 70 providers and all support staff which serve in 3 different locations. Jessica has also served on various committees at the state and regional levels to help further the profession of athletic training. She is currently the President-Elect of the Athletic Trainers' Society of NJ and will be taking over as President for the next 2 years at this upcoming state meeting.
