2016 Let's Grow Together

About Us

Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association

The Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association (ONPHA) Conference and Trade Show is the largest conference in Canada for non-profit housing providers. The 2016 conference and trade show takes place November 4-6, with Education Day on November 3, at Sheraton Centre Toronto.

This year’s theme is Let’s Grow Together.

When we share our experiences, explore innovative thinking and work together, new ideas, solutions, and possibilities emerge. The non-profit housing sector is a strong, invested community and with renewed commitment from the provincial and federal governments, we are in an exciting position to gain momentum. As we plan for the future, it is time to harness our collective knowledge!

At this year's conference, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • network with 1,400 other people who work, live, or volunteer in non-profit housing in Ontario
  • get the latest updates on policies and regulations that affect your housing units
  • hear from over 150 expert speakers on topics related to housing policy and administration
  • celebrate the recipients of the ONPHA Awards at the Gala
  • explore the 70+ booths in the trade show with the supplies and services you need

Plus, mix and mingle with your peers at our social events, including the Welcome Reception, our 2016 Gala, and networking events at Ripley's Aquarium, Second City and more!

Be a part of the conversation at the 2016 ONPHA Conference and Trade Show! Let’s share our stories. Let’s learn from each other. But most of all – let’s grow together towards our common goals.

We are committed to the development of a strong and vital non-profit housing sector. Through our research and advocacy, professional development, and member support activities, we offer our members the tools they need to develop and deliver high-quality affordable housing.

Non-profit housing providers make an important difference in the lives of Ontarians. Our 740 member organizations operate more than 163,000 non‐profit housing units in over 220 communities in Ontario. Together, our members house more than 400,000 people. That’s nearly twice the combined populations of Prince Edward Island, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and the Yukon.
