ERICSA cruises into Savannah, Georgia with three exciting plenaries including our second ERICSA Interjurisdictional Fair (IJ Fair) and a return of our famous ERICSA State Team Wars after the business breakfast and forty-seven workshops with a large number of the workshops providing Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit.

The plenaries and workshops selected by the Conference Planning Committee touch on a variety of relevant topics including, but not limited to, interjurisdictional processes, legal ethics for child support professionals, safeguarding of information, mentoring child support leaders for the future, and technological advances.

We are honored to host a second ERICSA Interjurisdictional Fair (IJ Fair)! This fair creates an opportunity for representatives from across the United States to share contact and content information about their agencies, and network. It’s a time to discuss policies, share ideas and most importantly, make connections. The IJ Fair will be held on Friday, November 20th in the Exhibit Hall from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

Again this year, the On-Site Committee has planned several events for our attendees to relax, enjoy themselves, and network with fellow professionals and colleagues. On Tuesday night, please join us to honor our President, Patrick Quinn, at the annual President’s Reception.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we will have our usual breaks and time to visit in the Exhibit Hall. On Wednesday night, join us in the exhibit hall for our Taste of Savannah networking reception. On Friday night, be sure to attend our ERICSA banquet. Memorable opportunities for additional social connections include a riverboat cruise, walking tour or even a ghost tour in historic Savannah.

The members of the ERICSA Board of Directors look forward to meeting attendees.

We look forward to seeing you in Savannah, GA in November 2020!

Michael McGuire II
ERICSA President-Elect and Program Planning Committee Chair

Early Bird Registration was accepted through February 10, 2020.

Pre-registration for the conference is strongly encouraged; however, you may register on-site, provided space is available, beginning Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from noon to 6:00 p.m. or Wednesday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

We suggest business-casual dress for all conference workshops. You are invited to wear your party clothes for the President’s Reception, Taste of Savannah and ERICSA Banquet, but you will also be comfortable in business casual.

Plan to join us on Tuesday evening at the beautiful Venues at Trustees' Garden, Charles H. Morris Center for our President’s Reception from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., just a short walk from the hotel. This event is included for attendees registered for the conference. This will be your first opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. Tickets are available for purchase for non-attendees. Come and enjoy food and a cash bar as we honor and thank our current President, Patrick Quinn, for his service and leadership of ERICSA.

Start your Wednesday evening off right and network with peers in a relaxed environment while enjoying local hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine. The Taste of Savannah Networking Reception will take place in the Exhibit Hall. Tickets are available for purchase for non-attendees.

Your conferences badge provides you with more information than just who you are. On Thursday night (and all nights throughout the conference) you can use your badges to get great discounts throughout the City of Savannah by using the "Show Us Your Badge" program. We have arranged discounts at a number of restaurants, attractions, shops and specialty businesses. Use the link above and click the categories to check out all the participants, and get your discount by presenting your conference badge to the participating places of business.

Make sure to join us on Friday night for the 2020 ERICSA Banquet which will have great food, friends, and most importantly, fun! The evening begins with cocktails at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner. Once dinner ends, we have more fun planned with a short walk to Elan Nightclub for a private ERICSA after party. Join us for a night to remember!

ERICSA T-shirts are available for $15 in multiple colors, sizes and styles. Sizes and colors can be found here. Please make your selection and place your order during the registration process. Money raised from the T-Shirts will be put towards the Gordon Bailey Speaker Fund. The T-Shirts are available for pre-sale, plus there will also be a limited number of extra shirts available at the conference. It’s best to order in advance though, so that you get your size and color choice. You can wear the shirts during the Thursday night Tour of Savannah, or anytime you like!

ERISCA is pleased to hold its second Interjurisdictional Fair (IJ Fair) on Friday afternoon. The IJ Fair is an easy way for child support professionals to meet their colleagues from across the country in a comfortable, no-pressure environment. Attendees can spend as much or as little time at each table just to chat, request a call-back about a case, or learn more about a program. And, of course, everyone likes to exchange contact information.

ERICSA traditionally has been able to provide several hours of continuing legal education (CLE) credits at each annual conference. ERICSA anticipates that there will be at least 17 workshops and plenaries eligible for CLE credits. An ERICSA Certificate of Completion showing each session attended will be provided for the attorneys who would like CLE credit. There will be a fee of $25 for this service.

ERICSA plans once again to support a local charity during our conference in November. Please watch for the announcement of our conference charity and ways you can help for in the coming months with our silent auction and other fundraisers.

Once again ERICSA is offering two scholarships to IV-D child support workers currently employed in a Title IV-D child support program (includes state, county, tribal, international, and contract staff for attendance at the Savannah, Georgia conference).

One scholarship will be awarded to a child support professional outside Georgia and one will be awarded to a Georgia child support professional.

The scholarship award will cover the registration fee for the successful candidates as well as transportation costs to and from the conference up to $500.00, hotel room and a daily stipend for the days the candidate attends the conference.

Applying for the scholarship is easy. Just complete the application telling us why you think attending the conference would be beneficial to you in your employment.

A new application deadline will be announced shortly and can be emailed to:

Terence O’Halloran, Esq.

ERICSA is pleased to continue our recognition program to honor child support professionals! We invite you to submit your nomination for an individual in the child support community who has strived for professional excellence. Nominations remain open and can be emailed to Robbie Endris, ERICSA Board Member, at Robbie.Endris@conduent.com.

You can be a winner! What do you have to do? Be sure to visit the Exhibit Hall to meet representatives from the organizations and companies that graciously sponsor the ERICSA conference. Attendees will receive a game card in their registration packet that requires them to visit all exhibitors in the vendor area to complete game. Drop off your completed card (with your name on it) at the ERICSA booth, and you’ll be entered into daily drawings for great prizes during the afternoon breaks.

Is this your first time attending an ERICSA Conference? Join us for an opportunity to hear about the ERICSA organization, get an introduction to the conference and ask questions in an informal and relaxed setting. It’s a great way to get acquainted with others who are attending the conference for the first time and meet some ERICSA board members! Stop by Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.

If you are a moderator, attendance at this meeting is mandatory. Moderators will be provided information regarding the conference along with specific scripted information that needs to be provided to attendees at each workshop. Moderator meeting times: Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. or Wednesday at 12:00 p.m.

ERICSA members primarily come from states east of and bordering the Mississippi River; however, membership is open to all. As a non-profit organization, ERICSA uses registration fees to further the training for child support professionals. ERICSA also provides its members a voice to Congress and the Uniform Law Commission (National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws) as they debate changes in child support laws. Joining is easy. Attend this conference, and you’re automatically a member for one year.

If you are unable to attend, send a $25 membership fee payable to ERICSA and mail to:
