AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERING, ERICSA 2020, SCHEDULED INITIALLY MAY 17-21, 2020, HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17-SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2020

Growing concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have prompted the rescheduling by the ERICSA Board of Directors. Our top priority is the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, sponsors, presenters, and staff. Therefore, we will continually monitor the health situation and make appropriate decisions about holding the conference as the health, legal and travel situations unfold in the coming months. It is our hope to be able to conduct a great conference in the tradition and spirit of ERICSA, which will be dependent on the situation in these unprecedented times.

We are working to provide you with as many details as possible, and we genuinely appreciate your patience as we take our next steps. We understand there will be a lot of questions and concerns following this announcement. See the FAQ below.

We would like to  thank  everyone who helps to make our annual conference possible and recognize that it does not happen without your support. The conversations we’ve had over the last several weeks have proven how lucky we all are to be part of this incredible and supportive association.

FAQ

How does this affect my attendee registration?

Your existing registration is still valid for the new ERICSA dates – Tuesday, November 17 – Saturday, November 21, 2020. All attendee registrations will automatically transfer to the rescheduled conference. Please note the new dates are in a different pattern than usual. 

If you have questions about registration, please contact info@ericsa.org. We ask that you, please be patient with us in this challenging time. Responses may be delayed.

What if I’m unable to attend the new dates?

We understand that there may be conflicts with the new dates. If you are no longer able to attend, you can transfer your registration to a colleague. Please contact info@ericsa.org with substitution information for the new attendee.

What if I want to cancel and get a registration refund?

ERICSA will honor refund requests without a refund fee at any time up until October 1, 2020. Please submit your refund request to info@ericsa.org and include your registration confirmation ID number. The refund may take a few days to appear on the credit card used to pay for registration. For those who paid by check, ERICSA will submit a refund check to the organization/individual listed on the check we received. We ask for your patience in receiving your refund.

What if you already canceled and would like to attend in November?

Please do not re-register. Email info@ericsa.org and we can reinstate your existing registration.

Will the agenda change?

We intend to present the same program initially designed for this year’s conference. If there are any changes, we will list them here.

What if I booked a hotel room?

Hotel reservations booked through the Marriott Savannah online link on our website or using the “ERICSA Conference” code via telephone will automatically be canceled. You will receive a cancellation notice directly from the hotel. If you do not receive a cancellation email, please call reservations at (800) 285-0398.

We will send out a new link and telephone number for November reservations.

If you have a reservation at the Doubletree, your booking will be canceled by the hotel. You will receive a cancellation notice directly from the hotel.  

How do I cancel my flight(s)?

ERICSA does not handle changes or cancellations regarding airfare. Please contact your airline directly to make any changes to your flight(s). Most airlines are providing waivers or free transfers. Please contact your airline directly for more details or to make any changes to your trip. 

What does this mean for exhibitors/sponsors?

Exhibitor and sponsors will be contacted individually by Corrina to discuss the possibility of transferring sponsorships and exhibit booths to the new conference dates.

If I am not a current ERICSA exhibitor, can I still reserve a booth for ERICSA 2020?

Yes, we do have booth space available and will continue to book booth space. Please contact info@ericsa.org for information.
