SWS members: If you are seeking to lower the overall cost of your stay by finding a fellow SWS member to share a room with, log in to the InfoHub and check out the 2025 Annual Meeting Hotel Room Groups forum. There you can post a request to all SWS members to request a roommate for the conference. This is optional, and this forum simply serves as an opportunity for those interested to connect.

The rate above is for single or double occupancy. The guestroom rate is subject to a 15% state and local taxes, fees and assessments rate per room, per night will be applied.
Please note that reservations are available on a first come-first served basis and should be made no later than Sunday, June 29, 2025, and cannot be guaranteed even before this date. If you would like to reserve a room outside of the dates listed above, you can call the in-house reservations team at 1-800-843-6664, and they will be able to assist you. For dates leading up to the conference, the hotel is unable to honor the negotiated rate due to limited availability.
Getting to Providence
Providence is easily accessible, whether you're coming from near or far, with several public transit options available!
By Air:
Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) is located just 15 minutes from the conference center and hotel. Those arriving at T.F. Green can take a taxi/rideshare into the city, or alternatively, follow signs in the terminal across the skywalk to the Airport InterLink. This facility houses the airport's car rental services and serves as a RIPTA bus stop (Route 14) and MBTA Commuter Rail station (Providence / Wickford Jct Line) with service to the Providence train station. RIPTA bus routes 1, 20, & 66 stop at the far end of the commercial roadway in front of the airport terminal and also serve downtown Providence (Kennedy Plaza).
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) offers more flight options and is located approximately 50 miles (85 kilometers) from Providence. Public transportation to Providence is recommended: From any terminal take the Silver Line (SL1) bus to South Station (free going into Boston, with buses departing approximately every 10-15 minutes). Proceed upstairs into the station, where you can board the next MBTA Commuter Rail train on the Providence/Wickford Jct line or any Amtrak train (ticket information for both below). Alternatively, several bus/motorcoach lines service Providence from Logan Airport or the South Station bus terminal.
By Train:
The Providence train station is a 10-minute walk from the conference center and hotel. The station is located on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, directly connecting Providence to cities such as Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston. Both the Northeast Regional and the high-speed Acela train lines stop at Providence. Amtrak tickets can be purchased on their website.
As mentioned above, the MBTA Commuter Rail also serves Providence from both downtown Boston and T.F. Green Airport. Trains to/from Boston South Station run approximately every hour on weekdays and every two hours on weekends. Service from T.F. Green is only available on weekdays, with a limited number of trains per day. Timetables can be found on the MBTA website, with tickets available for purchase through the MBTA mTicket app.
By Car:
The Rhode Island Convention Center is conveniently located right off I-95 in downtown Providence. Ample parking is available on-site in the convention center’s two parking garages. Rates, EV charging information, and parking spot reservations are available on the convention center's website.
