Reunion Details

When is Reunion? 

Reunion will be celebrated on campus from Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 9, 2024. 

Who can attend?

  • All Class Years: Villanova alumni from all class years are invited to attend Reunion! For 2024, Undergraduate, graduate and law members of class years ending in 4 or 9 will have special reunion events, and all other events are open to alumni from all class years.
     

  • Families and Guests: Spouses, children, other family members and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend Reunion! Except for the President’s Lecture and Reception and evening milestone class celebrations, Reunion events are child-friendly. NovaFest on Saturday will include entertainment for children (face painting, balloon art, lawn games, etc.), the Will D. Cat mascot and meet-and-greets with student-athletes. Children under five do not require a ticket to attend any of the family-friendly events. Please note that Villanova does not provide childcare during Reunion weekend.
     

  • Pets: Pets are not permitted to attend, except for service dogs. If you or someone in your party will be bringing a service dog, please contact us at alumni@villanova.edu

Photo Release

University photographers will be on campus throughout Reunion taking pictures to capture all the special moments. Attendees are asked to complete a photo release to acknowledge that your photo may be taken while on campus.

Law School-Specific Questions

How do I get from the Law Happy Hour to my Class’s Milestone Reunion event? 

Shuttle service will be provided with loops between The Inn at Villanova, the Charles Widger School of Law, The Commons and the Connelly Center. Shuttles will operate around campus approximately every 20 minutes and will make stops at all accommodation locations as well as other on-campus areas. Each stop is indicated by a shuttle flag. 

Who do I contact if I have a Law Reunion-related question? 

For Law Reunion questions, please email the Charles Widger School of Law Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@law.villanova.edu, or call 610.519.7054.

Where do I check in?

All Law Reunion attendees must check in to receive their Reunion 2024 badge, which will serve as a ticket for paid events. There will be a Welcome Center for Law Reunion attendees located at John F. Scarpa Hall (the Law School building), open on Friday, June 7, from 4:00-8:00 pm. Law graduates arriving outside of this window must check in at the Welcome Center on main campus behind the Connelly Center (see Welcome Center hours).

Event Registration

When will event registration open?

Registration will open on Tuesday, March 19, at 12:00 pm ET. We encourage you to discuss your plans with friends and family in advance so you will be able to complete your registration quickly.

To ensure you are receiving Reunion communications, please visit villanova.edu/updatemyinfo to update your contact information.

Do I need to register in advance?

We strongly encourage preregistration for all events for space and meal-planning purposes. Walk-ups will be accommodated as space permits. If you need assistance registering for Reunion events, email the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@villanova.edu. Our staff are working to field all inquiries as soon as possible. 

Is there a deadline to register for events?

Registration for all events will close on Monday, June 3, at 11:00 pm ET. It is strongly encouraged that you register as early as possible so you don't miss any communications about events in which you wish to participate. You may register or modify your registration using the "Register" button above right up until the event start time. 

How will I know that my registration has been received and processed?

When you register, you will be sent confirmation via email. Please retain this email for your records. If you have misplaced your confirmation email, you can contact alumni@villanova.edu to request another copy.

How do I make updates to my existing registration? Can I add or remove events?

To add an event to an existing registration, please modify your registration using the "Register" button above. To request a refund for a paid event, contact the Alumni Office at alumni@villanova.edu.

What methods of payment are accepted for registration?

We accept American Express, VISA and MasterCard. We do not accept Discover.

If I am unable to attend, can I get a refund?

The deadline to cancel housing and event registrations and receive a full refund is Friday, May 10, 2024. If you have questions about your registration, please contact the Alumni Office at alumni@villanova.edu.

If there is inclement weather, will events be relocated or canceled?

In the event of inclement weather, outdoor events will be moved inside. Updates will be provided via our VU Events app and via email. 

Can I reserve a table at an event?

We do not offer assigned seating or reserved tables. Class banners, tents and table cards will indicate general areas to facilitate locating your classmates. At all events, there will be extra seating so that you and your friends can sit together. Arriving on time will help with seating preferences.

What to Wear

What is the dress code for Reunion events?

Prior to departing for campus, make sure to consult the weather forecast and plan your attire accordingly. A jacket or sweater is strongly recommended, as the buildings can be cold in the evening. Temperatures may vary by room and venue. For your own comfort, we recommend that you dress in layers.

Casual or Business Casual

Casual: Shorts, T-shirts, sneakers, sandals, Villanova spirit wear.  

Business Casual: This could include pants or a skirt, sweater or casual blouse, khakis, slacks and a button-down or golf shirt. 

  • Daytime activities including the Welcome Lunch, Memorial Mass, campus open houses and tours, academic lectures and breakfasts
  • Saturday morning Reunion Recognition Brunch 
  • Saturday NovaFest (a great place to break out your Villanova hats, shirts and other Wildcat gear!) 
  • Villanova Law building tours

Business/Cocktail

A step up from business casual, but less formal than black tie. Sports coats recommended.

Traveling to Campus

Parking will be available in the following locations:

  • W-2 lots near the West Campus apartments (accessible via Spring Mill Road).
  • I-1 parking garage at the corner of Lancaster and Ithan Avenues.

Please note that parking on Main Campus may be limited. To drive onto Main Campus, enter through the main gate on S. Ithan Avenue (across from the Finneran Pavilion). To access the west side of Main Campus, enter via the Fedigan Hall gate from Spring Mill Road.

For those staying on campus, you may park temporarily in the circle in front of the Connelly Welcome Center Tent, or in the SAC garage. Once you have picked up your room keys from the Welcome Center, you will then park in the I-1 Ithan garage or W-2 parking lot on West Campus for the weekend (view campus map).

Accessible Parking

Villanova University provides ADA Parking through approved signage and space marking in accordance with Pennsylvania State Regulations. Only individuals who have an authorized placard or state-issued license plates may occupy such spaces. There is ADA parking available throughout campus, including in front of the Connelly Center, at John F. Scarpa Hall (the Law School), behind The Commons and in the I-1 garage (view parking map).

Off-Campus Lodging

If staying off campus is your preference, please click here for a list of nearby lodging options. Please note that shuttle service to and from area hotels will not be provided.

What options exist for off-campus travel?

Ride sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are available in the area. Local taxi services are also available for off-campus travel, including:

  • Bennett Taxi: 610-525-1770
  • Rosemont Taxi: 610-525-1777
  • Main Line Taxi: 610-272-1000

Please note that shuttle service to and from area hotels will not be provided.

Welcome Center Hours

The main campus Welcome Center will be located outside of the Connelly Center’s lower-level entrance by the horseshoe driveway. 
 
All attendees registered to attend Reunion events must check in at the Welcome Center in order to receive badges, which will serve as your "ticket" to events for which you are registered. Attendees staying on campus will also check in at the Welcome Center to receive their housing assignment and key code. 

  • Friday, June 7 | 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
  • Saturday, June 8 | 8:00 am - 8:00 pm  
  • Sunday, June 9 | 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Key codes for on-campus accommodations must be picked up during the hours listed above. 

Law Welcome Center

There will also be a Welcome Center for Law Reunion attendees located at John F. Scarpa Hall (the Law School building), open on Friday, June 9, from 4:00-8:00 pm. Law graduates arriving outside of this window must check in at the Welcome Center on main campus behind the Connelly Center.

Getting Around Campus

Villanova staff will be available to help provide directions to event locations and transport guests with mobility needs around campus in golf carts.

Reunion Shuttle

Shuttles will operate around campus approximately every 20 minutes. Please note there may be slight delays at certain times due to local construction, traffic and volume. Loops will be between The Inn at Villanova University, Charles Widger School of Law, the Commons and the Connelly Center. Shuttles will make stops at all accommodation locations as well as other on-campus areas. Each stop is indicated by a shuttle flag. 

Golf carts will be available to help transport guests with mobility needs around campus. Golf carts are not permitted to transport alumni off campus under any circumstances. Please email alumni@villanova.edu if you will require mobility assistance during the weekend. 

Where are the nearest restrooms near the center of campus?

Connelly Center: Restrooms can be found on the ground floor of the Connelly Center, to the right of the entrance to the Villanova Room. Restrooms are also available on the top floor of the Connelly Center, to the left of the information center.

Dougherty Hall: The women's restroom is located on the east side of the building (closer to Bartley Hall), near the stairwell. The men's restroom is located on the west side of the building (closer to Austin Hall), near the stairwell.

Is a lactation room available?

Yes, one will be available in the Bryn Mawr room located in the Connelly Center. 

What will be open on campus during Reunion weekend?

See below for a list of available facilities during Reunion weekend. Please note the fitness center will not be open during this time.

University Shop  

The University Shop has temporarily moved to St. Mary's Hall on West Campus, located on the corner of N. Spring Mill Road and County Line Road. On-site parking is available and is adjacent to the University Shop. You may also buy University merchandise at the Finneran Pavilion and NovaFest during Reunion weekend.

  • St. Mary's Hall: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Finneran Pavilion: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Saturday, June 8

  • St. Mary's Hall: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Please note that due to Radnor Township’s plastic bag policy, the University Shop can no longer provide single-use bags at checkout. Customers have the option to bring their own bag or purchase a reusable bag.

The Refectory

The Refectory, Villanova University’s full-service, on-campus restaurant, will be open during Reunion weekend during the following times:

  • Dinner: Starting at 4:00 pm, seven days/week 
  • Lunch: Monday-Friday at 11:30 am
  • Brunch: Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 am
  • Happy Hour: Seven days/week from 4:00-6:00 pm 

Holy Grounds at The Commons

Located in Friar Hall of The Commons. Open throughout the weekend from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Will Wi-Fi be available on main campus?

Yes, Reunion attendees will be able to use free Wi-Fi during the event. Select the Wi-Fi network called "Alumni," enter the password "nova2024" and accept the terms and conditions.

On-Campus Housing

How do I know my apartment assignment? 

When you arrive on campus, please visit the Welcome Center outside of the Connelly Center to confirm your room assignment and receive access. Welcome Center hours will be listed on the Schedule tab.

What do I need to bring? 

Apartments will be supplied with pillows, bed linens, towels, washcloths and a limited supply of blankets. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible, so our strong recommendation is that you bring extra blankets with you. Basic personal care items such as soap, shampoo, toilet tissue and hangers will also be provided. Please also bring any additional toiletries or other items you anticipate needing. Please note that housekeeping services will not be available during the weekend.

What if I arrive on campus outside of registration hours? 

If you have registered for on-campus housing and arrive after registration hours, there will be instructions at the Welcome Center outside the Connelly Center as well as posted on residence hall doors for where to pick up your room keys. If you plan on arriving after the Welcome Center closes, special accommodations will be made on a case-by-case basis. Please contact alumni@villanova.edu with specific requests. 

Do I need to stop by the Welcome Center to check out of my room? 

No. Upon moving out of your room, you do not need to stop at the Welcome Center—you can simply pack your belongings, and room keys can either be discarded or left in your room. 

Who do I contact if I have an issue with my on-campus housing?

How do I make a gift in honor of my Reunion?  

If you are celebrating a Reunion in 2024 and would like to commemorate your milestone year, you can make a gift of any amount to support any area of campus before our fiscal year ends on May 31, 2024. Add a donation to your reunion registration or give directly online. All gifts and pledges will be counted in the Reunion Class Gift totals and make a difference for today’s Villanova students. 

How can I stay connected after Reunion?  

The Alumni Association offers events and opportunities throughout the year for alumni to network, volunteer, catch up with friends, give back to Villanova, act as ambassadors for the University and much more. Join the Nova Network, one of our Regional Clubs or Affinity Networks, or our virtual book club. Visit the Alumni Association website

How do I receive information on upcoming events?  

Future communications about upcoming Alumni Association events, such as Reunion, will be sent via email. If you have recently changed your email address, please take a moment to update your information by calling 1-800-VILLANOVA, emailing alumni@villanova.edu or visiting villanova.edu/updatemyinfo

Who do I contact if I have a question?
