As advocates for health equity, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) believes every patient deserves the best care and support possible. A diagnosis of Myeloma, a blood cancer which is twice as likely among Black Americans as it is among white Americans, requires a team approach to care- including those who can identify and solve for the unique challenges that accompany diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
Join LLS for this free event to hear from experts on the diagnosis rates of Myeloma and what to look for, when to see your primary care physician and when to seek out a specialist, and what support resources exist, including those from LLS. Myeloma patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and community members are invited to attend, connect, and learn!
