Hi-Point Firearms First-Time Attendee Assistance Program

Hi-Point Firearms will continue to cover the costs of meeting registration fees for four first-time attendees to the AFTE Training Seminar. In order to take advantage of this offer, you must be a first time attendee, include your CV/resume, and you must be someone working or studying in the field of Firearm Identification who would like to know more about our association.

Your supervisor, academic advisor, or co-worker (preferably an AFTE member) must write a letter on your behalf stating that you will be attending the meeting and that your employer will not pay 100% of the cost. The letter should also state what, if anything, your agency will pay for.

Please be aware that this donation only covers Registration Fees. Attendees selected are still responsible for food, travel, and lodging and any workshops that they might like to attend.

Selections will be made via lottery, with the remaining applicants placed on a waitlist to be selected by lottery in the event of a cancellation. You will be notified, via email, if your registration fees are paid.

The cut-off date for submitting your letter for consideration for the First-Time Attendee registration waiver is January 31, 2024! Your letter must be received by this date to be considered.
