What is the weather in Anchorage?

Are there any COVID restrictions?

  • AFTE will follow all national and local COVID guidelines.

What if I need to cancel after the cancellation date?

  • Your agency is able to swap out attendees if someone else is able to go, but unfortunately we are unable to process a refund after the cancellation date.

How do I download the mobile app?

  • About 10 days prior to the event, you will receive an email with instructions for downloading the app.

How can I participate in the event?

  • We would love for you to present during the technical session, present a poster, teach a workshop or be an attendee! Please see the relevant tabs on the top of the page for more information.

What workshops are available?

  • Workshop seats can often go quickly, you will need to login to your registration to see which workshops are currently available.

When is registration opening?

  • Registration will open in late December/early January. Keep an eye on in the Facebook group for the exact date.

How can I host an AFTE in my city?

Is attendance only in person for 2024?

  • Yes, this is an in-person conference.

What does the basic registration fee?

  • All technical sessions, welcome reception, poster session, BYOS and Thursday's cocktail hour and banquet.

Do I have to register for the seminar if I plan to present and then leave?

  • Yes, all speakers are required to register and pay the registration fee, with the exception of certain workshops or special sessions.
