OVERVIEW
This program will discuss the latest developments and best practices in the diagnosis and management of adult attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It will incorporate current challenges and managing patients in the era of availability of multiple therapeutic options (stimulants and nonstimulants).
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for psychiatrists, nurse practitioners within psychiatry, physician assistants within psychiatry, pediatricians, primary care physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other clinicians who treat adult patients with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
GOAL STATEMENT
The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to assess and manage ADHD in adult patients with special considerations for tailoring therapy, managing comorbidities, and mitigating risk of stimulant misuse and diversion.
