SHERATON BIRMINGHAM HOTEL
Sleeping rooms for the ASCLD Symposium will be hosted at the Sheraton Birmingham hotel - "your hotel home base when visiting downtown Birmingham". The newly renovated, pet-friendly hotel is connected via skywalk to the event space at the BJCC. Rooms will be available at the prevailing government per diem rate.

WESTIN BIRMINGHAM
Additional sleeping rooms for the ASCLD Symposium will be hosted at the Westin Birmingham hotel - "the ideal choice for business travelers and event attendees". The new, pet-friendly hotel hotel is connected via skywalk to the event space at the BJCC. Rooms will be available for $159 per night.

HAMPTON INN & SUITES (TUTWILER)
Additional sleeping rooms for the ASCLD Symposium will be hosted at the Hampton Inn & Suites (Tutwiler) hotel - "a historic home veside downtown sites". The hotel is 0.4 walking miles along one direct road to the event venue. Rooms will be available at both the prevailing government per diem rate as well as at $159 per night. We kindly ask non-government employees to book at the higher rate, reserving per diem rates for government employees.

EVENT VENUE
All ASCLD Symposium events will take place in the East wing of the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex. The complex is connected via skywalk to the event hotels, the Sheraton and the Westin. The complex is also accessible via the public street. Parking is available at the BJCC; details will be provided in the Know Before You Go in April 2024.

Birmingham is easy to get to and easy to get around. Two major interstates and the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport located 10 minutes from the city center make it easy to get to town. Transportation is not provided by ASCLD, individuals are responsible for getting to and around the city on their own.
