Sharing my preliminary research results with local growers, professors, and fellow students helped me refine my project goals and better understand my results.  It was a great experience to receive feedback from such a knowledgeable audience.

Sharing my research at the CA ASA Plant and Soil Conference has allowed me to learn how to collaborate with those who may not be directly linked to my research or the topics that surround it. The conference shaped my perception of careers in agricultural and environmental science by allowing me to explore and hear ideas from those who work in those industries and get their perspective of how the world is now and how it can be improved.
