Sponsorship Opportunities

Each year, the California Chapter of the American Society of Agronomy (CA-ASA) Governing Board seeks sponsor donations to support student participation at the annual California Plant and Soil Conference, through the scholarship program and poster competition. Awards are made to deserving undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in agricultural sciences. The scholarship program rewards one or more undergraduate student(s) with outstanding scholastic accomplishment. The poster session is truly a highlight of the conference and gives students an opportunity to communicate their work in a professional setting. CA-ASA recognizes the value in attracting high-achieving and enthusiastic young people to the profession, and strives to do so with these awards.

As an incentive to sponsors, CA-ASA offers the following perks based on the level of donation:

• Bronze: $500 (logo printed in the book of abstracts, a sponsor ribbon on name badge, verbal recognition in opening remarks and business lunch)
• Silver: $1,000 (Bronze perks, plus 1 complimentary registration)
• Gold: $2,000 (Silver perks, plus logo on sponsor slide during breaks)
• Platinum: $5,000 (Gold perks, plus logo on homepage of the conference website)
