ED&I Summit

Tuesday 26 September 2023 | The BCEC, Birmingham

Overview

As a National Centre for Diversity ‘Investors in Diversity’ employer, we put Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) at the heart of what we do.

Last year we ran our first ED&I Summit in central London, giving organisations from all over the country the chance to share experiences and best practice as well as the opportunity to examine ways to make our sector even more inclusive, safe and professional to work in.

Following exceptionally positive feedback, we are delighted to be running another ED&I Summit this year, on Tuesday 26 September at The BCEC, Birmingham City Centre.

There is always more to find out about ED&I in practice and how it benefits your organisation and your employees. That’s why, chaired once again by entrepreneur Tim Campbell MBE, attendees will hear about the very latest developments and best practice in relation to ED&I in the workplace and education settings.

With a mix of plenary sessions, workshops and an exclusive exhibition area, this event will give a firm insight into the importance and the benefits of embedding ED&I in all that you do. And we’ll do this by avoiding preaching and instead giving you real working examples and ideas of how you can develop and embed best business practice right across all you do.

Feedback from AELP's inaugural ED&I Summit last year

'This was far and away the best conference I have attended in a long time - and I’ve attended a lot of conferences. The day and each session were relevant, engaging and informative. Most importantly, I have gone away with ideas and tools to make real changes in our organisation. Was a pleasure to attend.'

'The energy was great led by Tim and the variety of speakers. Was delighted you covered so many different aspects of IDE.'

''Very well organised and incredibly friendly.'

'This was a great first step. Loved the array of talks and insights.'

'Can't wait for next year - thank you.'

'Excellent cannot wait for the next one.'

'This was a truly fantastic event. I will definitely be back next year!'
