Getting to Santa Fe

From Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ)

Shuttles

  • One shuttle service at the ABQ airport is Groome Transportation – a convenient service between Santa Fe and the Albuquerque International Sunport with 30 trips daily to fit your travel schedule. The shuttle offers pick up and drop off at all Santa Fe hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, colleges, and other locations. Shuttle time is 75 minutes one way. Just remember to call to make a reservation. 505-474-5696  Group discounts are not available.
     
  • Albuquerque Express Shuttle Santa Fe - ABQ Charter Service 
    A custom trip between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Fares start at just $94.
    NOTE: We are generally available to transport passengers only between the hours of 5 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Please call 505-850-3880 if you have any questions.
     
  • Road Runner Shuttle offers chartered 14-passenger vans, Suburban SUVs, sedans, and a 28-passenger charter bus. For reservations call 505-424-3367Group discounts may be available if a group charters transportation together.


Hotel Shuttles

  • Our contracted hotels do not offer shuttle service to and from the airport.

    • From ABQ to SAF between $85 - $170
    • From SAF to local hotels $28 - $40
  • Lyft
    • From ABQ to SAF between $74 - $185
    •  From SAF to local hotels $24 - $36

Leaving the Airport (ABQ)

NOTICE: In response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, many New Mexico transit providers have suspended or adjusted service. Please contact ABQ RIDE directly to inquire about bus service and schedules to and from the airport.

Rio Metro Bus at Sunport to Downtown ABQ Rail Runner Station to get to Santa Fe:

  • Connect to the ABQ RIDE Route 250 bus (at the Sunport the bus stop is located on the lower level at the west end of the shuttle island, look for the Bus Stop signs) – Show your Rail Runner ticket to ride for Free otherwise it is $1.00
  • Bus will meet northbound trains #512 and #514 at the Downtown Albuquerque Rail Runner Station – Fare is $2.25

  • Santa Fe Co./NM 599 Station (I-25 and NM599)
  • Zia Road Station ( Zia and St. Francis)                            
  • South Capitol Station (off Pen Road)

Car rental shuttles provide free transportation between the terminal building and the Car Rental Center 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Shuttles run every 5 minutes from the commercial lane located outside the 1st level of the terminal building.  Shuttle buses are handicap-accessible.

Fly Santa Fe (SAF)

The Santa Fe Regional Airport is operated and managed by the City of Santa Fe.  We are a full-service international airport that is cost-effective, time-efficient, accessible, and friendly. As a starting point for residents, the time to gate is shorter and parking is less expensive than other nearby airports. As a destination for tourists, flying Santa Fe allows them to make the most of their trip to The City Different and Northern New Mexico by saving a significant amount of travel time.
 

Public Transportation

The airport is currently not served by the City Public Transportation system.

Getting Around Santa Fe

Registration is Limited!

Early Bird registration was available through Friday, September 9th and is $415. We have reached our 450 in-person attendance limit.

A virtual option was offered for $149 and included four plenaries and three workshops.
