Connect with colleagues, gain new skills, and be inspired — for the long haul.
September 19, 2022: LTER Committees only
September 20-23: General Meeting
The workshop topics at the LTER All Scientists' Meeting are based on the interests and needs of the LTER community. Planning a new research campaign, expanding inclusion strategies, or improving data usability? There's something for everyone.
Asilomar Conference Grounds provides a self-contained venue in an inspiring location on the northern California coast.
LTER has reserved the entire venue. Comfortable, clean rooms are available on-site so that you can maximize your meeting time. Most rooms are shared, but singles are available for a bit extra.
If you need to stay off-site, we can help with that too.
The "Generations" meeting theme points to the dedication of researchers who may commit entire careers to understanding the mechanisms at work in ecosystem science. It also signifies the changes in technology, culture, and perspective that emerge over long timescales.
All workshop sessions are available in the Sched app. Connect with other workshop participants before, during and after the meeting to maximize planning, learning, networking, and follow up.
Each day starts with a plenary talk to engage and inspire us. For 2022, we are thrilled to announce speakers who are applying environmental science to restore ecosystems and improve human health for generations to come.
