UC Scout

UC Scout is a University of California Student Academic Preparation and Educational Partnerships (SAPEP) program that develops and delivers A-G approved online classes and curriculum to students around the globe. UC Scout course materials are designed to inspire lifelong curiosity and prepare pupils of all backgrounds and education levels for an increasingly technological world where training and job skills are mobile, asynchronous, and self-directed.

UC Scout's mission is to reach out to educationally disadvantaged students across the state, raising achievement levels and closing achievement gaps between groups of students. Every SAPEP program works to achieve this goal in different ways, and UC Scout's focus is on offering high school and middle school classes online.

Transcript Evaluation Service (TES)

TES is an online college access tool that makes it easy for California high school counselors, schools and districts to track students' progress toward college eligibility.

TES helps increase students' A-G completion toward UC/CSU minimum eligibility. Courses are cross-checked through UC's Course Management Portal (CMP), the authorized database of all approved A-G coursework.

Our two-step verification process results in the most accurate A-G transcript analysis available.

A-G Policy Resource Guide

The A-G Guide is your primary online resource for all matters related to A-G, including information on A-G course criteria and guidelines, submitting new courses for A-G review, managing your A-G course list, and more.

The A-G Guide is managed by UC's High School Articulation unit, which communicates and implements UC faculty policy regarding high school coursework that fulfills the A-G subject requirements for freshman admissions to the University. The High School Articulation staff not only evaluate and assess high school courses for quality and rigor, but they also support educators and administrators in designing college-preparatory courses.
