Deadlines and Fees

Registration Deadline

While agents can register after Monday, Oct. 3 at 5 p.m. for the $725 registration fee, there is no guarantee the reduced hotel rate will be available after this time. 

Standard Fee

The registration fee includes breakouts, general sessions, social events and specified meal functions.

The standard fee is $725 per person. You have the option to pay the registration fee by credit card or it will be charged to your agency statement after the meeting. The fee for children ages 5-17 is $300 and children age four and under are free.
 

Cancellation Deadline

Cancellations must be received by 5 p.m. CDT on Friday, Oct. 14.

Cancellation Fee

If you do not cancel by this date, the full registration fee will be charged to your respective agent statement or credit card.

This fee is nonnegotiable and will be strictly enforced due to extensive financial investment for this meeting made by UniGroup. 

 

No-show Fee

A full convention registration fee will be assessed to your agency’s statement if you fail to attend the convention and provide no notice.

 

Attendee Information

Who Should Attend

All Shareholders and agent principals are encouraged to attend the October Convention. In addition, we encourage agents to bring members of their leadership teams or use the event as an incentive opportunity. 

Please note, breakout topics will include sessions on UniGroup's revenue distribution simplification for CFOs and Controllers. 


 

Planning Travel

Sunday afternoon arrival and early Wednesday departure are highly recommended to maximize your time with fellow agents and take advantage of the deeply discounted hotel rates and waived resort fee. 

Interested in arriving early? UniGroup also has rooms available at the discounted rate on Saturday night. Those rooms will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Note: There is a three (3) night minimum (Sunday-Tuesday) hotel stay requirement for Convention this year. Also, based on a rate and space availability, the special convention rates will apply three days before and three days after Oct. 23-26 if agents register by Monday, Oct. 3.

New Feature: Direct Hotel Booking

Agents will be guided through Aventri for Convention registration. Upon completion, agents will be required to book hotel accommodations directly with the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach resort. Click here for more information.
