Amy is a stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma survivor, Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection peer support volunteer for LLS, and is dedicated to spreading awareness, mentorship, and support within the cancer community.
Nicole Jolicoeur, Esq.
Nicole is a staff attorney at Triage Cancer. Prior to joining Triage Cancer, Nicole was an Excelsior Fellow at the New York State Office of Mental Health in Counsel’s Office. After leaving OMH, Nicole worked as a staff attorney at a nonprofit representing incarcerated individuals’ civil and human rights on a variety of matters, including access to medical and mental health care.
While in law school, Nicole’s father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While this was not the first family member to be diagnosed with cancer, it became a firsthand experience of the many legal difficulties that individuals diagnosed with cancer, and their families, face after a cancer diagnosis. This experience instilled a passion for assisting those diagnosed with cancer, and providing education on the legal and practical issues that may occur due to a diagnosis.
Nicole earned a Juris Doctor from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from Hofstra University. She is a member of the New York bar.
Vince Miceli
Vince Miceli is a Stage 4 NHL survivor. Vince was diagnosed in February 2020 with diffuse large B-Cell Lymphoma, his lymphoma was spread throughout his lymph nodes, spleen, liver and bone marrow. Vince's final chemo was July 13th, 2020.
Vince was recently married to his wife Emily on June 19th, 2021. In Vince's spare time he loves rooting for his favorite sports team, the Chicago White Sox, going to movies, reading and lifting. Vince is also the CEO and Founder of Titan Technology, an IT and business technology firm.
Samantha Nicholson
Sam is a Public Health graduate student at Northern Illinois University and will graduate with her MPH this spring. She graduated from Illinois State University in 2019 with a BS in Public Health and is currently specializing in Health Service Management.
She is passionate about working in the nonprofit field and working with underserved patient communities. This educational program is Sam's final project for her MPH internship at LLS.
