Welcome to the entry website for the inaugural Enterprising Worcestershire Awards 2019.
We wish to showcase the fantastic array of businesses that have started-up and are thriving in Worcestershire and that have benefitted from the support offered through Worcestershire County Council's Enterprising Worcestershire programme.
We have a range of award categories designed to highlight the success of your business; if you have accessed support through our programme since September 2017 then we welcome you to apply.

You are able to enter several categories if you wish. A separate entry for each category must be completed.
The deadline for entries has been extended and will close at 12pm on Friday 9th August 2019. Winners will be announced at our awards ceremony on 18th September.
Speakers
Anita Hill - Owner and Founder of Comfyse
Anita Hill has traversed from being a career woman, to mom of two and now to being an entrepreneur. She finds herself at the age of 41 as the Founder of her new start-up business, Comfyse. This was not the future envisaged when she had become a mom but she'd not change it for the world.
Emma Jones MBE - Founder of Enterprise Nation
Emma Jones MBE is a business expert and best-selling author of business books such as Working 5 to 9 and The StartUp Kit. She is founder of Enterprise Nation, having launched the company back in 2005. Enterprise Nation has now grown to be a community of over 75,000 people, all of whom are doing amazing things. She is passionate about supporting people in Britain to start and grow their own successful business, and representing their views to government and media.

This award seeks to showcase businesses that have accessed support specifically through the "High Growth" element of Enterprising Worcestershire
Best Start-Up Business
This award seeks to showcase start-up businesses that have been trading for less than 2 years
Best Growth Business
This award seeks to showcase an established business that has demonstrated successful growth and has been trading for 2-5 years
Most Innovative Business
This award seeks to showcase businesses that have demonstrated innovation in any aspect of their business
The People's Choice
The People's Choice award is a celebration of how you engage with your customers, service users and local community
It is open to all shortlisted businesses following the judging panel and a voting window will open on the 22nd August 2019
