Janet Ruzich, DO

Dr. Janet Ruzich is a medical oncologist associated with Providence Cancer Institute. After graduating from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her residency in internal medicine and her hematology/oncology fellowship training at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Ruzich is board certified in medical oncology.

She has practiced in Portland since 2001 and has served patients in the Milwaukie and surrounding area. She has a special interest in breast cancer, lymphomas, and other hematologic malignancies. Dr. Ruzich has treated patients with indolent and aggressive lymphomas, myeloma, and chronic leukemias throughout her career. She has recently been nominated as a candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Women of the Year. This is a fundraising campaign to raise funds for research and patient support for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

When not practicing medicine, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing.

Adell Lenart, LCSW

Adell has been working at Providence Health & Services since 2007 and in medical oncology social work since 2015. She provides services to people diagnosed with blood cancers through the Providence Cancer Institute West on the St. Vincent’s Campus. Her social work career of over 30 years has been focused on medical social work, providing counseling and resource assistance to patients, their families, and caregivers. Adell values the opportunity to work with people as they adjust and grow in response to their cancer diagnosis, and to provide support, education, advocacy, and care coordination.
