COVID-19 Safety

Circumstances of the 2022 PAAA Annual Meeting, including PAAA’s ability to host social functions, are dependent upon state and hotel COVID-19 restrictions and regulations. Meeting details are subject to change and we ask that you remain flexible as we proceed with planning.
 

In-Person: Our face-to-face meeting in Hershey, PA will still take place responsibly with appropriate safety measures and at a smaller scale. Based on our membership survey responses, many members have a real need to be together for support, encouragement, and rejuvenation. To meet our members’ needs who prefer an in-person option, PAAA plans to provide a mix of educational and social events throughout the weekend. 

 

 

Please review our current* Health and Safety Protocols:

  • It is required that all attendees are vaccinated and will be asked to show proof of vaccination upon arrival at the meeting. If you are unable to be vaccinated due to religious or medical reasons, please contact Lauren Klinedinst at lklinedinst@pamedsoc.org.
  • Masks will be required** at all indoor PAAA events; masks will be optional at outdoor socials. 
  • Social distancing 3 feet will be provided in the general session room.
  • Safety will be considered when providing food and beverage during the meeting and social events.
  • Spouses/guests/children may attend PAAA social events.
    • Spouse/Guests/Children Ages 5+ (vaccination required) Must show proof of vaccination upon check in at social events.
    • Guests/Children Ages 0-4 For our youngest guests, we have no requirements. However, we ask that parents abstain from bringing your child to our socials if they are showing any cold/flu like symptoms.

 

*Health and Safety Protocols are subject to change at any time. All such changes will be updated and communicated as quickly as possible with registered attendees. Additional details of our Health and Safety Protocols, including the details regarding the process of providing proof of vaccination, will be announced as we get closer to the event dates.

**PAAA cannot control or require guests/staff of the Hotel Hershey to wear masks. By attending the event and visiting Hershey Resorts, all attendees accept that these protocols will not be in place outside of PAAA events. Venue regulations may change based on state guidelines.
